“Wines and Flavours in Music” Festival 2026

It’s that time of year again: the ‘Vini Gusti in musica 2026’ festival is just around the corner – a series of events that combines superb live music with a celebration of the region’s finest wines. Following each performance, there will be a reception featuring wines from local vineyards.

Morramondo

Three days full of games, culture, music and socialising await you at the 22nd Morramondo. As well as the international Morra tournament, the programme offers guided tours, cultural insights, musical performances and traditional Friulian specialities – an event that is open to players, accompanying persons and visitors is open to. The most eagerly awaited moment will be on Sunday, when the historic centre of Cividale del Friuli will become the venue for the semi-finals and the Grand Final of the 22nd Morramondo. Against the splendid backdrop of Piazza Foro Giulio Cesare, the public will be able to watch the matches to decide the international title free of charge. Programme: Friday 4 September 3.00 pm: Guided tour of the La Tunella Winery or the Bepi Tosolini Distillery (by booking only). 5.00 pm: Welcome reception for delegations and collection of accreditation badges at the Francescatto Barracks 7.00 pm – 8.30 pm: Welcome drinks with traditional Friulian specialities provided by the sponsors, accompanied by the lively music of the band I Splumas at the Francescatto Barracks From 8.30 pm: Opening of the food and wine stalls. The Wine City of Chiopris-Viscone invites you to the final event of Le Notti del Vino 2026 in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Wanderweg „Sentiero delle Vigne Alte“

The “Sentiero delle Vigne Alte” is undoubtedly the best-known walking route in the Collio. It winds its way through woods, hills and the highest vineyards in the Collio, overlooking the plain on one side and Slovenia on the other, offering panoramic views (hence the trail’s name, Vigne Alte). The route proposed connects the various start points in: Spessa in Capriva in Friuli, Pradis in Cormons and the village Subida in Cormons. Amongst rows of cypress trees, olive groves, cherry trees, woods, villas and castles and “panoramic views”, you will find yourself immersed in the heart of the Collio, which is not just a land a land of great wines but so much more much more! The route alternates between dirt tracks, woodland paths and short stretches of tarmac with little traffic, and links up with the route of the Collio Geosite in Russiz Superiore. Dedicated red wooden signpost bearing the inscription “Vigne Alte”. In some sections, the cross-border route coincides with that of the Alpe Adria Trail.
