Morramondo

Three days full of games, culture, music and socialising await you at the 22nd Morramondo. As well as the international Morra tournament, the programme offers guided tours, cultural insights, musical performances and traditional Friulian specialities – an event that is open to players, accompanying persons and visitors is open to. The most eagerly awaited moment will be on Sunday, when the historic centre of Cividale del Friuli will become the venue for the semi-finals and the Grand Final of the 22nd Morramondo. Against the splendid backdrop of Piazza Foro Giulio Cesare, the public will be able to watch the matches to decide the international title free of charge. Programme: Friday 4 September 3.00 pm: Guided tour of the La Tunella Winery or the Bepi Tosolini Distillery (by booking only). 5.00 pm: Welcome reception for delegations and collection of accreditation badges at the Francescatto Barracks 7.00 pm – 8.30 pm: Welcome drinks with traditional Friulian specialities provided by the sponsors, accompanied by the lively music of the band I Splumas at the Francescatto Barracks From 8.30 pm: Opening of the food and wine stalls. Live music with Par Sound at the Francescatto Barracks Saturday 5 September 08:00 – 09:00 Morramondo official breakfast at the Francescatto Barracks (for registered participants only) 09:00: Presentation of the delegations and groups at the Francescatto Barracks Start of the 22nd Morramondo. 12.30 pm: Official Morramondo lunch at the Francescatto Barracks (for registered participants only) From 12.30 pm: Stalls and barbecue open to the public. The Nights of Wine 2026 – Chiopris-Viscone

The Wine City of Chiopris-Viscone invites you to the final event of Le Notti del Vino 2026 in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Wanderweg „Sentiero delle Vigne Alte“

The “Sentiero delle Vigne Alte” is undoubtedly the best-known walking route in the Collio. It winds its way through woods, hills and the highest vineyards in the Collio, overlooking the plain on one side and Slovenia on the other, offering panoramic views (hence the trail’s name, Vigne Alte). The route proposed connects the various start points in: Spessa in Capriva in Friuli, Pradis in Cormons and the village Subida in Cormons. Amongst rows of cypress trees, olive groves, cherry trees, woods, villas and castles and “panoramic views”, you will find yourself immersed in the heart of the Collio, which is not just a land a land of great wines but so much more much more! The route alternates between dirt tracks, woodland paths and short stretches of tarmac with little traffic, and links up with the route of the Collio Geosite in Russiz Superiore. Dedicated red wooden signpost bearing the inscription “Vigne Alte”. In some sections, the cross-border route coincides with that of the Alpe Adria Trail.

60 YEARS OF DONO – exhibition of photography in Mossa. The Municipality of Mossa, in collaboration with FIDAS Isontina – ‘Florinda Nicolazzi’ Branch – and Advs Mossa, is delighted to host a new edition of the photographic exhibition dedicated to the local branch’s 60 years of activity, solidarity and generosity. A visual journey that tells the story, captures the faces and highlights the most significant moments of this extraordinary voluntary organisation. Wine and Frico in Equilibrio

Friday 21 August at 7.00 pm Wine and Frico in Harmony a tasting experience dedicated to one of Friuli Venezia Giulia’s most iconic dishes, reinterpreted through pairings with Tenuta Della Casa wines Four variations of frico i bring together different expressions of the Collio region — from DOC wines to PIWI selections — in a dialogue centred on texture, intensity and balance. The experience explores the relationship between tradition and contemporary interpretation, showcasing local ingredients, seasonality and a vision of winemaking deeply rooted in the local area.
